stop eating simple carbs (they spike your blood sugar levels causing insulin release and storage of those calories as fat). examples of simple carbs are candy, all sugars, white rice, white pasta, white potatoes and white flour. this last one is the hardest to watch out for -read the labels! enriched flour is white flour which has a glycemix index higher than white sugar! spelt is the best grain to eat otherwise multi-grain -you can tell you're eating good grains if they are heavy and course.
complex carbs are basically vegetables & fruits
